Rocky Mountain Carvings

Daryl Boone

For over 30 years, Daryl Boone has mastered the art of transforming “found” Colorado wood into timeless holiday treasures. Cottonwood trees grow along streams and rivers in the Rocky Mountain region. Bark is a top choice by many creative woodcarvers for its rich texture and light weight workability. After the tree dies, the bark eventually falls off the trunk where it waits on the ground to be picked up and made into all those all natural creations.
